Hamilton Hotel WorldPride Partner Logo System

As an official partner of WorldPride 2025, Hamilton Hotel DC needed a branded identity system that would celebrate the occasion while remaining unmistakably Hamilton. The partnership extended beyond on-property activations and included participation in the Pride parade, requiring a flexible visual identity that could travel across print and digital marketing collateral.

The project called for a custom logo treatment that could unify event communications and create a recognizable presence throughout the celebration.

The Challenge

Design a commemorative partner mark that integrates the energy and inclusivity of WorldPride while preserving the equity and recognition of the Hamilton Hotel brand.

Logo Development

The custom partner logo preserves Hamilton Hotel’s distinctive script icon while introducing color as the primary storytelling device. Multiple configurations were developed to support different contexts: primary horizontal lockup, simplified event mark, compact applications for small-format use, & light and dark background versions

Application

The identity was designed to move seamlessly across experiences, including pride parade vehicle graphics, on-property activations and signage, print marketing collateral, digital campaign assets, & event communications and promotional materials. By creating a flexible system rather than a one-off graphic, the identity supported evolving event needs while maintaining consistency across touchpoints.

The final identity transformed Hamilton Hotel’s WorldPride partnership into a recognizable branded experience—one that honored the event, amplified visibility, and created a cohesive presence across celebration moments.

This project demonstrates how thoughtful brand adaptation can create cultural relevance while protecting existing brand equity.
