Brand Identity

It was a great honor to design the branding for the Be A Hero campaign. Be A Hero is an organization that raises money to fight for accessible healthcare. It was founded by Ady Barkan, who suffers from ALS. This disease will eventually take his life. One thing Ady often says in his talks is, “I may be dying, but I’m not going quietly.” Even though travel is difficult and talking is almost impossible now, he continues to fight on.

We developed an identity system around the brand to unify the design across vendors and organizations.

The system identified ways to build complimentary wordmarks for consistent campaigns. It dived into font usage, color, illustration and photography.

Then we wrapped it up in a neat package.

We compiled the system in an organized publication so brand elements could easily be accessed.
